Top Performance At Garrick As Theatres Companies Raises £200

Two Lichfield theatre companies have raised £200 for We Love Lichfield after performing not one but two comedies at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre.

The different Animal Theatre Group and Lichfield Players collaborated to perform Alan Ayckbourn’s paid of comedies ‘House’ and ‘Garden’ on 7th – 12th October to superb reviews at the Lichfield Garrick.  The fete after each performance raised money for three local charities including We Love Lichfield and representatives from both groups presented Simon Price, CEO of Arthur Price and Adrian Jackson, Artistic Director of the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, both Advisors to We Love Lichfield, with a cheque for £200.

Simon Price said:  “Both theatre companies did an amazing job not just with superb acting but with monumental logistics to manage by producing two play simultaneously.  I take my hat off to them for doing this and for thinking of local charities at the same time.  A huge thank you from me, Adrian and all of the We Love Lichfield team who will make sure that the hard work employed to raise this £200 will be given to a well-deserving organisation somewhere in the district of Lichfield
