Big Breakfast At Lichfield Cathedral School

A huge thanks to Lichfield Cathedral School who hosted two big breakfasts for pupils and parents raising £558 for We Love Lichfield.  Staff prepared bacon and sausage sandwiches, plus croissants, tea, coffee and juice before school started on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st September.

Cathedral School pupils chose We Love Lichfield as their charity of choice for the Michaelmas term and have many events planned to raise money for the fund as part of the school’s commitment to supporting the local community.

“The school council of pupils have chosen We Love Lichfield as this term’s charity to support and these two breakfast are the first events,” explained Joanna Churton, head of the junior years.  “The children chose We Love Lichfield because it helps so many community groups, charities and projects in the local area.”

Julian Fisher, fund advisor at We Love Lichfield, said: “We are delighted that the Cathedral School children have chosen to support us and it was great to see pupils, teachers and parents chatting together before the school day. The Big Breakfasts were a brilliant way to kick-start the fundraising this term and we look forward to seeing what the children decide to do for the next event.”
