Driving The We Love Lichfield Message Home

Lichfield cutlery firm Arthur Price hopes to drive an important message in 2015 with its new delivery van doubling up as a roaming advertisement for local charitable fund ‘We Love Lichfield’ courtesy of Burntwood Ford and Kia dealership, The Acorn Group.

The two local firms have combined to change the new Arthur Price delivery van into a free mobile advertising vehicle to spread the good work of the Fund.   Acorn Group has chosen We Love Lichfield as its 2015 local ‘charity of choice’ and has provided the van’s decals free of charge to help promote the charitable fund.

For 2015 the company, based on the Cannock Road in Chase Terrace has chosen We Love Lichfield as its 2015 local ‘charity of choice’ and has provided the van’s decals free of charge to help promote the charitable fund.  In addition, it will give £10 to We Love Lichfield for every Test Drive done in February and March and donate £10.00 for every Winter Healthcheck completed in January and February.  When booking a Test Drive or Winter Healthcheck telephone 01543 685656 and quote ‘We Love Lichfield’.  Plus they have put the Fund’s logo onto each of their six courtesy cars.

Dave Larkin, Director of Acorn Group and Motor Contracts said: “It’s such a simple idea which came about due to the Fund’s logo on our courtesy cars which are going to spread the good word and work of We Love Lichfield.  Simon Price asked if we could make some more decal stickers of the Fund’s logo so he could put them onto his new van.  So in short we now have a fleet of mobile advertising vehicles.”

Simon Price, Arthur Price CEO and Patron and Advisor for We Love Lichfield said: “One of the challenges for We Love Lichfield is publicity and this is the perfect advertising vehicle.  The van spends most of its time travelling around the District and the Midlands and it will simply spread the word and good work of this worthwhile fund.

Simon continued: “This tie-up with the team at Acorn and Motor Contracts is already starting to bear fruit for the Fund.  We’ve had lots of people mention the livered courtesy cars and together with the van plus all the other initiatives Dave and his team are doing I hope we’ll raise extra money for the fund.”
